The EJ has enjoyed a very short production run before being upgraded to the present EH. The modifications extend to the whole car, inside and out. The roofline and other stylistic details have been modified, while the old “Grey” six which powered all Holdens since the very first 48/215 is now superseded by a modern “Red” engine, which finally offers the performances the big Holden deserves.

Entered at the annual Bathurst production cars race, the S4 fails to win, but nonetheless displays a serious potential.
