1952 Lincoln Full-Sizes

Fresh when they first appear early in 1948, the “bathtub” Lincolns had rapidly aged. For 1952, they are replaced by brand new automobiles, definitely modern and elegant. Handling is better than ever, thanks to a new ball-joint suspension, while power comes from a new short-stroke V-8. Still provided by General Motors, the automatic transmission was now standard on all models. There are still two series, the Cosmopolitan now being the entry-level model, while the Capri is the most luxurious one. Both feature hardtop coupe versions.
