Introduced during the 1952 model year, the Deluxe and Manhattan models are carried over, but soon joined by a luxurious Dragon, then a much cheaper Carolina. In April 1953, and despite financial losses, Kaiser purchases Willys-Overland to form Kaiser-Willys.
Kaiser Deluxe

Kaiser Manhattan

The extravagant Dragon virtually includes as standard equipment all possible options, among them a Hydra-Matic automatic transmission, air conditioning, radio, tinted glass and vinyl-covered roof.

During the year, Kaiser adds a strip-down version of its Deluxe, but this cheap but plain Carolina struggles to find its place on the market.
