Ambitious but short-lived American company, first built alongside the sister car Frazer, then alone. Kaiser purchased Willys-Overland, then gave up its huge Willow Run factory to move to Willys' more reasonnable Toledo plant, and concentrate on the production of Jeeps instead of passenger cars. Production still continued for a while in Argentina, where the dies had been shipped.
