1961 DAF 600

The DAF is now also built in a right-hand drive version, allowing it to be exported in neighbouring United Kingdom. Furthermore, the small saloon is now complemented by a pickup able to carry a load of up to 300 kilos.

● Introduction: February 1958. Construction: unibody. Engine: air-cooled flat two, 0.6-litre, 22 hp, mounted at the front. Transmission: to the rear wheels through a continuous variable-speed gearbox. Suspension: independent on all four wheels. Brakes: hydraulic, to drums on all four wheels. Length: 361 cm. Top speed: 90 kph. Range: two-door “Standaard” saloon, two-door “Luxe” saloon, two-door pickup (from April 1961).
